Hello.

I’m Janine and I’m a freelance Art Director, Creative Director and Designer.

I’ve lived and worked across the globe in cities like London, Amsterdam, Singapore and Berlin.
And I feel blessed to have been born in the most beautiful city of all - Cape Town. Of course...
I'm biased. However, I'm now fortunate to call both Cape Town and Berlin - Home.

Naturally, having lived in this many countries, means I’ve been afforded many crazy, but great experiences, as well as a fairly diverse body of work which has greatly shaped who I am today.

I have roughly around 17 years of know-how within the design and Advertising industry.
My agency roster includes W+K Amsterdam, Plantage Berlin, Band Singapore, The Jupiter Drawing Room Cape Town and TBWA Berlin... to name just a few. My roles varied from creating corporate identities, iconic brand communication, integrated & performance marketing, all the way through
to complex 360 degree full circle brand campaigns, for the likes of Adidas, BMW Mini, McDonalds, McCafe, Nike, Coca Cola, Vodafone, Heineken, Nissan, Tassimo, AOK, Hypovereinsbank, ONE.org and many more. I’ve been freelancing and working on various projects, over the last decade, taking on-off pauses to pursue my love of interior design and photography, immersing myself in the Airbnb superhost world, all the while striving to be a Supermama to 2 feisty yet fine
little superhumans.
